چکیده
Abstract Cryogenics has an important influence on industry and science. In this study, optimum working conditions are obtained by applying exergy analysis local optimization methods to two- three-stage vapor compression cascade cryogenic cycle. The first second laws of thermodynamics, analysis, applied the By considering needs demands, it is possible create new cycles adding devices and/or stages these cycles. results operating for It seen that achieve high COP values efficiency; necessary reduce ratio compressor as much fluid allows. For two-stage cycle, minimum total work required cooling around P 7 = 2,400 kPa. value 0.30 between 2,800 kPa, maximum efficiency 0.235. first-stage at pressures increases losses entire cycle from 7,500 18,550 kW. increase in 247%, 160%. When second-stage operated low pressure, 2%, 20%, decrease 40%.

Comparison of Single-stage and Two-stage Tubular SOFC-GT Hybrid Cycles: Energy and Exergy Viewpoints
In this work, single-stage and two-stage tubular solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC)/gas turbine hybrid cycles are comparatively examined from the energy and exergy viewpoints. For this purpose, mass, energy and exergy balances are applied to all components of the cycles. The behavior of tubular solid oxide fuel cell modeled in this study is validated with the experimental test data of tubular SOFC de...

In this study, an integrated structure of the air separation unit, natural gas liquids recovery equipped with nitrogen removal unit is developed. In this regard, advanced exergy and exergoeconomic analyses are used to examine the irreversibility, possible improvements and the cost of the inefficiencies of the process. The exergy analysis presents information on the origin of the irreversibility...
متن کاملUtility of thermodynamic (exergy-exergy) analysis in cryogenic systems for liquefaction of gases: A Review
The exergy efficiency depend upon mainly upon the inlet condition of the system because inlet condition best suit for a particular type of the system except to increase the whole system efficiency stresses are done on particular parts of system and research are done on that systems. It was observed that that every part of system has its own and equal importance because ones effect on another wh...

In the present work, the performances of improved two-stage multi inter-cooler trans- critical carbon dioxide (CO2) refrigeration cycles with ejector and internal heat exchanger have been examined. In the new improved cycles, an internal heat exchanger is append to the cycles. Also, second inter-cooler in improved cycles, cooled with the refrigeration of the cycle, so that in first c...
متن کاملThe energy and exergy analysis of a novel cogeneration organic Rankine power and two-stage compression refrigeration cycle
The energy crisis in recent years has led to the use of thermodynamic cycles that work based on renewable energies. Low-temperature cycles—such as organic cycles—are suitable strategies for the application of renewable energies. The present study proposes a novel cycle through the integration of a two-stage compression refrigeration cycle with a combined Rankine power and ejector refrigerat...
